We don't want your data. Seriously. Here's what that means in practice.

Pebble Software

Pebble doesn't phone home. Once it's on your server:

• No usage tracking
• No analytics sent to us
• No internet connection required for editing
• No user behavior monitoring

Your data is yours. Period.

Update Checks

Pebble can check for updates from hellopebble.io. This is opt-in and happens when you visit the Control Panel. During an update check, we receive:

• Version: Your current Pebble version
• Tier: Whether you're using Core or Pro
• Domain: Your website's domain (from the request)
• License hash: For Pro users, a one-way hash to verify license status

We use this to show you if updates are available and to understand how Pebble is being used (version adoption, Pro vs Core distribution). We don't collect any personal information, page content, or usage patterns.

You can disable update checks entirely by adding this to your config.php:

define('PEBBLE_DISABLE_UPDATE_CHECK', true);

Our Website

When you visit hellopebble.io, we keep it minimal:

• Analytics: Basic page views, anonymized
• Downloads: We count them, that's it
• Cookies: Just for dark mode preference

No ads. No tracking pixels. No creepy stuff.

Newsletter

If you sign up for updates:

• We store your email to send you news
• We never sell or share it
• Unsubscribe anytime, one click

Third-Party Stuff

We use a few external services:

• GitHub: Hosts our releases
• Google Fonts: For the typography

They have their own privacy policies.

Your Rights

You can always:

• Ask what data we have (probably nothing)
• Ask us to delete it
• Unsubscribe from emails
